Birthday Festivities

I started celebrating my birthday on Friday. My staff had gifts and lunch for me. And Justin made a monkey cake. On Saturday, I went to my little friend Cameron's birthday party, met my friend Kristi for a little shopping, had supper with my dad, mom, friend Heather and her son Kelley. My birthday was topped off with a state championship football game with a Junction City Dragon win. Thanks to everyone for making my birthday special. Thanks for all the call, texts, cards, etc. If I were smart enough to do it, I would put my favorite message on here. It just happens to be my favorite little guy, Kade, and his parents singing to me. ;)

I have been needing artwork for my living room, but I just haven't found anything large enough that I wanted. So, I created some. I dyed the fabric and painted it and then put it over a painting that I bought mainly for the frame/size of it.

I had the sweetest patient this week and she had the greatest German accent. She brought by the nicest thank you note and flowers. She was pretty greatfull that I dug stuff out of here eyes.

Today after church, I decided to check out the War Eagle Craft Fair. This is the only thing I bought. It was chocolate dipped cheesecake on a stick. Yum!

Cherry Pile is the dog that followed me home from my walk. I called her owners and no one answered. I looked up her address, took her home and dropped her off. She didn't even live on my walking route.

The Bridge

I stopped today to take a picture of the one-lane suspension bridge that goes over Beaver. I go over this bridge anytime I go to Fayetteville from my house. This bridge is actually in several movies. Elizabethtown is the one movie I have actually seen with this bridge in it. As you can tell in the background, the leaves are ever so slightly starting to change color. I am kinda excited about the leave change coming. If you want to see this bridge and the leaves, come see me! I don't have any plans for this coming weekend ;).

While at work today, I received two prizes. First, I received beautiful flowers from mom and dad. Yeah, I'm a pretty blessed girl to have such great parents.

Second, I received a tip from a patient. He was a sweet little elderly man. I don't know if I can legally accept a tip, but I did. They didn't cover tipping in school ;).
